Terms of Use
Last updated: 1st May, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at https://tellzee.com (or such other URL we may publish from time to time) and/or the TellZee mobile application (collectively, the "Platform") made available by TellZee App, maintained by D-Inventions Technologies India Private Limited ("we", "us" and "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India. The terms "you" and "your" refer to the user of the Platform.
These Terms are to be read together with the TellZee Content & Community Guidelines and the TellZee Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
Our Services (described below) and these Terms are intended to align with applicable Indian law, including the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and the Information Technology Act, 2000, as amended, and rules framed under it. When you create an account or use the Platform or any Services, you accept these Terms. We do not represent that we comply with the laws of any jurisdiction outside India; if you use our Services from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
You and we must follow certain rules while you use the Platform. Please read these Terms and the policies linked here carefully. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
Changes to terms and services
The Platform may change over time. We may change the services we provide, temporarily or permanently, or stop providing certain features. We may add or remove functionalities. If a change requires your consent under applicable law, we will seek it. Please review this page periodically for updates.
Who may use our services
TellZee helps users discover and connect with hosts for chat, audio calls, and video calls, and supports payments and wallet features (including coins) as described in the app (collectively, "Services").
You may use our Services only if you can form a binding contract with us and are legally permitted to use the Services (including being at least 18 years old, unless a higher age applies in your region). If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" and "your" refer to that entity.
How to use our services
To use the Services, you must register on the Platform (for example, using your phone number and a one-time password or other method we provide). To deliver chat, calls, host onboarding, and related features, we may request permissions such as access to your camera, microphone, storage, notifications, and other capabilities, as shown in the app and explained in our Privacy Policy. We do not access information on your device beyond what you permit and what we need to provide the Services.
You agree to use the TellZee mobile application (or web experience, if offered) in accordance with these Terms and applicable app store rules. You may need to install updates to continue using the Services securely.
Privacy policy
To provide and improve the Services, we collect information such as your phone number, profile details, and usage data, as described in the TellZee Privacy Policy. Data may be stored on cloud infrastructure (for example, services such as AWS or Google Cloud), which are also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies where applicable.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and store information and your rights. We may use third-party services, APIs, or embeds; your use of those features may be subject to the third party's terms.
Your commitments
In return for providing the Services, you agree to the following. You are responsible for your actions on the Platform and for any breach of these Terms.
a. No impersonation or false information
You must provide accurate registration information required by us (including a valid phone number where requested). You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation. If you operate an obvious parody or commentary account where permitted, you must make that clear in your TellZee profile.
b. Device security
We implement security measures, but no system is completely immune to attack. You should use reasonable security on your devices (such as updated OS, antivirus where appropriate). You are responsible for activity on your account and should not allow others to use your credentials. You are responsible for content and actions under your account.
c. Content removal and termination
Your use of the Platform is governed by the TellZee Content & Community Guidelines. We may remove content that violates those Guidelines or these Terms. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of your account. You may appeal or contact us at support@tellzee.com where we offer a process for that.
d. Unlawful use
You must not use the Platform for content or conduct that is illegal under Indian law, harmful to minors, discriminatory, harassing, hateful, violent, or otherwise prohibited by law or by our Content & Community Guidelines. We may remove such content and cooperate with authorities where required.
We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect users, our rights, or public safety, or to address fraud or security issues. We are not responsible for actions of other users or third parties.
e. Content rights and liabilities
You may share content (such as profile media, messages, or other materials) subject to these Terms. You retain ownership of your content, subject to the license below. You must not infringe intellectual property or other rights of TellZee or third parties.
By sharing content through the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, reproduce, display, and create derivative works as needed to operate the Platform (consistent with your settings and our Privacy Policy). You may delete your content or account as described in the app and Privacy Policy; some content may remain visible for a period (for example, where shared with others or retained under our retention rules).
You are solely responsible for content you share. We do not endorse user content. Our trademarks on or near your content do not imply endorsement.
f. Intermediary status and limitation
We operate as an "intermediary" as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, where relevant. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are published as required under applicable law. Our role is to provide a platform for users and hosts to interact; we do not control all conduct of users offline or on other services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from these Terms or use of the Platform, except as required otherwise by applicable law.
g. No disruption of the Platform
You must not interfere with the Platform, probe or circumvent security, introduce malware, use bots or scrapers to collect user data without authorization, or attempt unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate your account and report violations to authorities.
Compliance requirements
If you are a publisher or content provider subject to specific Indian regulations (for example, news and current affairs), you may be required to provide account or compliance details to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting or other authorities as applicable. You are responsible for meeting those obligations where they apply to you.
Permissions you give to us

We may use account and usage information to operate, personalize, and improve the Platform, including to show you relevant hosts, calls, or promotional content, in line with the Privacy Policy. If we process sensitive personal data as defined under applicable law, we will do so in accordance with law and, where required, with your consent.
b. Downloads and updates
You may need to download or update the TellZee application to use the Services. Please install updates we provide for security and compatibility.
