Account Deletion — FAQs

1. How to initiate the account deletion process?

  1. Go to Settings in the TellZee app and tap Delete Account.
  2. Log in and authenticate your account.
  3. Enter your mobile phone number and email address (this helps us contact you if you need help downloading information associated with your account).
  4. Enter your reason for deleting your account (optional).
  5. Tap Submit.

2. What will happen when I submit a request for account deletion?

Once you start the account deletion process in TellZee, you will not be able to access your account. Your account details—including your profile and call-related records held in the app—will not be visible to others. You will also be unable to use TellZee to chat, place or receive calls, or otherwise share or upload content through the app.

It may take us some time to fully delete your account and its contents. Some references to content or activity associated with your account may remain visible for a short period after you begin deletion. Even where such references appear, your profile will not be accessible.

After you delete your account, we may retain certain data, including personal information generated from your use of TellZee, for regulatory and compliance purposes for a limited time. We may also retain aggregated information after your account is deleted.

3. Can I stop the deletion request?

After you submit an account deletion request, you may log back in to the TellZee app within 30 days of submitting your request and cancel the deletion. After 30 days, your account will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

4. How can I download my data?

You may receive a download link at the email address you provided when you submitted your account deletion request. The link is available only for seven (7) days from the date of that email. Follow the instructions in the email to download your data.

Your account data may include, among other things, your chat messages, profile details, and call-related information, as applicable and as held by TellZee at the time of your request. Please provide a correct email address so we can deliver your export. It may take us some time to prepare your information for download.

5. What will happen to the coins available in my account upon deletion?

We encourage you to use any coin balance before you start account deletion. We do not provide refunds of coins or wallet balance in connection with deletion. For more detail, see our Coins Policy.
